Versafine Clair are oil based pigment inks that are quick drying, waterproof once they are dry, and lightfast.  On a gel plate they’re quite transparent, which allows you to layer color and pattern quite effectively.  They might not be the first thing you think of when it comes to media to use on a gel plate, but they work really well.
