Elizabeth was initially skeptical about using High Flow Acrylics on the gel plate, but agreed to give it a try. She was good naturedly humoring me, but discovered the technique allowed her to create papers that had very specific uses in her Paper Paintings. Think octopus skin and flower centers. Me? I just like the patterns that are created by the paint and I often use mine as the base for another gel print or tear them to use them as is.
