For a long time when we wanted to create small, close together dot patterns punchinella, aka sequin waste, was about the only option. It worked and created some really interesting prints. When Elizabeth developed her Halftone Dorothy Stencil it was with the intent to create a full 9″ x 12″ area filled with those small dots. Today we’re playing with both to see the advantages of using the stencil to create a wide swath of dots!
