Yupo Paper

Yupo is a synthetic paper made from Polypropylene. It's stretched and sheeted to form long lengths which are cut to more manageable sizes and bound into pads. Yupo is available in regular white 74# weight, white 144# heavyweight, and 104# translucent and is packaged in top bound pads of varying dimensions. It's very strong, super smooth, and has a matte surface which is perfect for all kind of pen work. Doodles look great on Yupo!

It's become a first choice alternative for many watercolor artists and an added benefit is that the paint may be removed by wiping with a wet paper towel, allowing the artist to begin again on the same surface. That makes Yupo a marvelous surface for beginners to experiment on.

It's also perfect for use with Alcohol Inks, allowing drops to bloom and spread into circles and other shapes. Yupo is often used as a printing surface and because it’s so strong signs made from it resist ripping and tearing. Use only in non-heat printing applications as a laser printer will fuse Yupo to the internal mechanisms of the printer.

Made in the US, Yupo is acid free, has a neutral PH, and can be recycled.
