One of the attractions of handmade and watercolor paper is the deckle edges, those irregular and unfinished edges that provide a unique and ornamental look, rendering each piece fairly unique. With this Tim Holtz Deckle Edge Trimmer modern technology meets vintage, allowing you to create the torn and uneven look of a deckle edge easily. For the best effect, use paper that’s at least 60#. If yours is thinner, you can try to stack two or three sheets and cut them together.
The blade is 8.5" long and is designed to create a torn look pattern that does not repeat. It’s also very sharp, so be sure to use the plastic guard and do not touch the cutting edge!
