Create a nostalgic look with Distress Mica Flakes! These translucent flakes will remind you of Christmas past and can be used to add a bit of glimmer on many kinds of projects. Want color? It’s easy to change the basic color to any you wish using Tim’s Alcohol Ink. Add the Mica Flakes to a cup and then drip a few drops of Tim’s Alcohol Ink. Stir to distribute the color over all of the flakes. Add more color, if needed, till you achieve the depth of color you want. Allow the Mica Flakes to dry before storing and using. A variety of liquid adhesives can be used to hold them in place, including Collage Glue and Collage Medium, and Glossy Accents.
