Gel Press Impressables - Rose Mandala

What happens when you combine a rubber stamp and a Gel Press Plate? Impressables! Measuring 7" x 7", Impressables are made from the same gel as a standard Gel Press Plate, but with the addition of a pattern molded in the surface.

Apply one color over the entire surface using a brayer and then apply another (contrasting one) to just the raised pattern using a second brayer. Print. Pull a ghost print. Create a pickup print with the paint that’s dried on the plate. Extend the use of your standard Gel Press Plate by adding texture using an Impressable. Make cards, art journal pages, or create papers suitable for collage work.
