Like an embroidery sampler that showcases the different stitches, this necklace showcases a variety of wire connectors. In this class you will learn how to make an assortment of links using various wirework techniques, using nothing more than your tools, wire and beads. You then show off these links by using your creativity to turn them into a unique necklace that is a "sampler" of all that you have learned.

You will also learn jewelry design ideas that will help you decide how to put all the parts together. The process is flexible enough to make anything from a delicate, short or long single strand necklace to a multi-strand stylish statement piece. It's your call. The options are endless.

Lesson One: Learn the figure 8 link, the bead link and the freeform link.

Lesson Two: Learn the flat coil link, the coiled bead and the spring link.

Lesson Three: Learn design ideas and techniques. Design your necklace on paper, create your clasp and assemble the piece.

This is an intermediate level class (or motivated beginner) but each student should have mastered the skills and techniques taught in the Intro to Wirework class before taking this class.

The supply list will be sent to all students one week before the class starts. Once you buy this class you will receive an email order confirmation, but you will not hear from us again until the supply list is sent.

A high speed connection to the internet is recommended for all students.

In order to participate in online classes at joggles you are expected to have basic computer and internet skills. You need to be able to browse the internet, know how to download and save a document to your PC's hard drive, and understand how to open and save email attachments. It is your responsibility to learn these skills before the class begins.

Please be certain you are comfortable with all of these skills. Class fees will not be refunded once the class has begun.
