Combine clay, fabrics, wire and metal to create your own personal Celestial Spirit Doll. Celeste is a doll of inspiration and love ready to spread joy wherever she goes. Lesson One: This week will focus on creating the canvas, adding lots of texture and interest to the background. Play around with several techniques on paper, experimenting to get that perfect look. Learn several ways to decorate with molding paste, add some stamping and stenciling techniques, and add fabrics and fibers to create depth. Then we’ll move on to the canvas where you can put your new skills to work. Color up your keys and words and get ready to finish up in our next lesson.

Lesson Two: This is where we finish up and make our little celestial doll come to life. Create some clay faces so you can pick your favorite. Learn how to color up the face and create her pretty little heart. Design her dress and explore several choices of decorating the fabrics. Add her wings and adorn the canvas with keys, stars, inspirational words, and “sparklies” to add more interest and excitement to the piece. Voila! Celeste is born and ready to put a smile on the face of everyone who sees her.

The supply list will be sent to all students one week before the class starts. Once you buy this class you will receive an email order confirmation, but you will not hear from us again until the supply list is sent.

A high speed connection to the internet is recommended for all students.

In order to participate in online classes at joggles you are expected to have basic computer and internet skills. You need to be able to browse the internet, know how to download and save a document to your PC's hard drive, and understand how to open and save email attachments. It is your responsibility to learn these skills before the class begins.

Please be certain you are comfortable with all of these skills. Class fees will not be refunded once the class has begun.
