Create your own one of a kind Cat Sack Handbag. This whimsical bag has lots of character and is just the perfect way to express your fun side.
We will create a bag with lots of "Purr-sonality" using batik fabrics, machine thread work with my "Raggedy Stitching" approach that anyone can do.
This project uses free motion quilting to create structure and body as well as a way to enhance the whimsical character inherent in each cat. This is an great project that will suit the needs and will be excellent for quilters of all skill levels, from novice to the more advanced.
The lessons will cover everything from how to choose the right fabrics to ensure a big success, the basics of FMQ, to bag assembly and finishing touches. The bag measures approximately 12" x 11". but instructions will be provided to alter the size. I will be available to answer any question you have every step of the way. My goal for the class is to have all students have fun and create a unique bag that you can carry around with pride.
