Basic use of any stencil... draw through the openings!  This one is Mini Zinnia.

Perfect Pearls Mists over the same stencil on a page where I'd painted the background with turquoise paint.

Cosmic Swirl stencil over a brighter turquoise painted page, then misted with a green/gold custom blended Perfect Pearls Mist.  If you want to know how to make your own Perfect Pearls Mists, check out the tutorial here.

Here's what the Flower Frame image looked like once I removed the stencil.  Simple, easy, and very effective!

I love the gradated color effect in this one and the next where gel medium is used as a resist.  This is the chevron stencil and I used Scattered Straw, Tattered Rose, and Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to get this color gradation.

The same three colors of Distress Ink were applied over the Triangle Plaid stencil. once the gel medium had dried  You can see that the gel medium I used was the gloss version.  If you prefer no reflection, use matte gel medium.

Light Molding Paste applied through the Brocade stencil.  This is by far my favorite technique of them all.  I love the dimension the molding paste provides and how the paste contrasts with the background.  You're not limited to only using plain white molding paste either... check out the next image!

I mixed some Wild Honey Distress Reinker and Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls powder into the molding paste, then applied it through the stencil just like I did with the white.  I picked one corner of the Flower Frame stencil and used just that part to get what you see here.

I used the Numbers Collage stencil over a page done in a previous video.  The stencil was applied over the bottom third of the page, then I misted Perfect Pearls over the top.  The next photo shows what the page looked like before I added the stencil and misted...
