Our video tutorial today is all about the expansion of the Seasonal Distress colors, this time to the stain line. You’ll see me work with the 12 colors that were released from the Autumn of 2011 through to Summer 2012. Distress Stains, like all of the Distress products, are reactive with water, but what makes the stains quite different is the fact that they’re fluid and dispense from the dabber bottle in quick, easy strokes of color. If you need to cover a large area quickly, stains are a good choice.
In the video I’ll show you stamping with the stains, using them with stencils, and perhaps the most liberating technique of all, using them with a water brush. It’s super simple and provides wonderful results!
