Ranger's Perfect Pearls Mist
These spray mists are just like Ranger's Perfect Pearls powders, except they're suspended in a liquid binder solution so you can spray them. Useful on anything porous, they add color, glimmer, and a bit of bling to your art! I randomly selected 6 of the 12 colors and misted them on watercolor paper scraps. The photos are "just sprayed wet" and "dry" so you can see what they look like straight out of the bottle and then once they're dry. In all cases I've pumped the mister 2 to 4 times, but you can use more or less depending on the application. As always, the best way is simply to jump in with both feet and give it a try.
Forever Green while wet...
And now dry.
Forever Violet wet...
And dry.
Heirloom Gold wet...
And dry.
Interference Red wet...
And here it is dry. This one is very subtle.
Perfect Copper while wet.
And it's dry. A good bit less subtle... kind of more in your face!
Perfect Pearl wet...
And Perfect Pearl dry. You can see that some of the colors are definitely more subtle than others. It's also interesting to see just how much of a difference there is once the liquid binder is dry and all that's left is the pigment. I tried to hold each of the ""dry" versions in such a way that the light was reflecting off of the pigment. While the photos are not perfect, I think you get the idea!
