The kit!  It includes everything you need to make both the penny rug and the penny pocket.  See it here.  Other items that will come in handy if you don't already have them:  Embroidery scissors to cut those tiny pieces  We have several styles you can see here  **  Circle templates - you need two since the sizes needed are not all on a single one.  The 1200i and 1201i are the ones you'll need.  **  6" x 12" ruler and a rotary cutter to cut straight edges for the tongues  ** 

If you want to choose your own colors to make the penny rug and penny pocket, go for it!  You'll need the pattern itself and wool felt, colors of your choice.
