The May Queen - Warts and All
The Story of the Goblin Princess
A long time ago in the deep
forests of Stonehurst lived an evil race of Goblins called the
Uruksis. An elf king of the Green Elves took it upon himself to
change these creatures by sending his fairest daughter to live
among them. The Goblins were smitten by her beauty and set her
up as their Princess. The Goblins changed with only an
occasional slip and then it was just minor acts of mischief.
While living with the Goblins, the Elf Princess fell in love
with one of them. He was considered an outcast by his race since
is mischief involved doing acts of kindness. It was only a
matter of time, they were married and a baby was born. She was
fair as her mother and inherited many traits from her
fatherincluding warts but since she was a princess, hers were
crystals and being a princess much beloved, when she was of age
she was crowned The May Queen, warts and all.
Her mother was a princess among
goblins, but she was a true Goblin Princess. |
