The Goblin Princess. A long time ago in the
deep dark forests of Stonehurst lived an evil race of Goblins
called the Uruksis. These Goblins used to get up tp the most
horrible mischief and caused so much havoc that the Elf king of
the Green Elves took it upon himself to change these creatures
by sending his fairest daughter to live among them. He sent his
beloved Aislinn.
The minute Aislinn walked in among the Goblins they were
smitten by her beauty for she was so aptly named. Aislinn means
vision or dream and to the Goblins she was a vision of beauty!
They set her up as their Princess and changed their ways. They
still occasionally slip and revert back to some of their old
habits but then it is just minor acts of mischief and Aislinn is
always there, walking serenely about the forest to keep an eye
on them.
I have created a Goblin Princess dressed in green as she is a
Green Elf.
As she is a creature of nature, living in what I imag8ine to
be a forest of birches, ash, beech and oak her colors are soft
and muted like the trees them selves. She has a cloud of white
her streaked with green and her features are soft and rosy. Her
gown is made up of lacy underclothes (doilies, I felt terrible
about cutting them up. Had to take a very deep breath before I
managed to cut in to them...) and the overdress draped around
her has the shape of leaves. The pearls that decorate her bodice
and girdle are what we in Sweden call, ”fairy pearls”. Fairies
sometimes mislead humans and lead them in to the forest, where
they then get lost.
If they sit down and cry because of their predicament the
tears they weep turn in to pearls as they hit the ground. The
fairies then collect these pearls because they love beautiful
pearls. Aislinn has brown ”leather” shoes as to not make to much
sound when walking in the forest.
Her staff is wound with roots, set with fairy pearls and has
lots of little carved men peaking out from among the roots.
Pretty feathers hang from thin leather thongs. |
