Trees!  There are 4 styles, though you see 5 here because I made two of the white one.

This is my favorite.  These are my colors... and I love the look the pennies take on when they're cut with pinking shears.  And beads.  You've gotta love beads.  And glitter.  Sparkle and shine.  (Sounds like the title of a U2 song, though I digress mightily!)

Yum...

A penny rug style Christmas tree.  This was the first one I made and though it's simple, I think it's very effective.  And, I'm a fan of complementary colors. - purple and green!

The pennies were attached to each other and the tree with a blanket stitch.

This tree was a bit of a challenge to stuff, but I like the shape and think it was worth the effort.

Rhinestones and glitter glue!

Ooops.  This tree lists a little.  Rather than see that as a flaw, I've decided that's part of this one's charm and character.

Make 4 or make more, they look fabulous grouped together.

This is the base I worked on in the video.  You can see where I snapped off the toothpicks that were stabilizing the dowel so it wouldn't wobble in the overly large hole I mistakenly drilled.  It all was covered by the trunk, so no harm no foul!
