Our finished pillow.  It measures about 5" x 9".  Pretty enough for a gift to anyone!

Here's the pillow front with the rhinestone chain attached.  At this point you're ready to put the front and back together (right sides together) and stitch them together.  Remember to carefully step your machine over the chain each time.  No broken needles!

In the video I neglected to mention that I tear thee Habotai silk.  It's been torn to a bit wider than I need till I layer the lace over the top and stitch in place.  Once I do that I trim everything even with the edge of the pillow.

Easy, fun, and pretty!  The fairy image on the left was made with B Line Designs' Tabitha stamp.  The trees in the back were stamped with another B Line stamp; Tree Grove, then I stitched the whole thing using Caron Wildflower threads which gives an entirely different look!

I made a bunch of pillows while I was preparing for this video.  They're very easy and addicting.  Make them simple like the one on the left, or add more like I did with the one on the right.  Both are B Line stamps (Composed on the left & Passionate on the right) and were stamped on Southern Belle fabric just as I demoed in the video.  The pillow with the Passionate image is further embellished with 1/2" gimp trim that I colored with Color Wash paint, then I layered 1/8" velvet ribbon over the top.  Simple, but very effective!
