Here's the next Challenge from joggles...
The Beaded Goddess Challenge Doll.

This challenge piece is much smaller than the Art Doll Challenge from the Fall of 2003.

The focus this time is on using beads to embellish the very basic doll body.  This pattern is a very simple goddess type body I drew that includes a stuffed head and body.

The images here are only a tiny example of the variety of ways this doll might be embellished using beads.  (I was on a spiral kick for a couple of weeks, can you tell?)  You may choose to embellish with fibers instead of, or in addition to using beads.

This doll is intended as a sample of combining beads and fibers, though I've not added any beads yet.  I created the fabric using my standard techniques for Surface Design.  Click here if you'd like to read about how I go about creating this type fabric.

This challenge has concluded.  No kits are available
